Secret manland explores fragility and care hidden beneath the roughness of former soviet metal garages in Vilnius. The metal garages in focus were built in the second half of the 20th century around the soviet residential building areas –intended for people to keep and fix their cars. The landscapes that were left behind were surprising. Not only because of the numerous personal items that remained, but also because of the cemetery-like pits that were revealed after the demolition. It was again a sign of secret care; all the pits were individually made under the garages by their owners. All had different shapes and uses. Unique pits hiding underneath uniform garage boxes.
