Aistė Gaidilionytė and Kamilė Vasiliauskaitė (b. 1999) are a creative duo currently based in Vilnius, Lithuania. With a background in architecture, they are interested in the role of the architect as an activist and mediator. Their practice, based on new materialism, post-growth, and feminist spatial theories, is concerned with reclaiming material expertise and emphasises sensitive observation, research, and reuse of materials, as well as hands-on prototyping, particularly focusing on investigating and rethinking contemporary building materials.
