Installation Lingering on the new dress was a part of the exhibition I hope this email finds you well prepared together with Baltic Lines (artistic research group investigating spinoffs of Rail Baltica megaproject). The artistic research of the area of Naujininkai ventured into the overlapping paradoxes of care and neglect, locality and renovation, reuse and value. The installation Lingering on the new dress leaned on the former glass tile clothing of Naujininkai residential buildings, which is peeling off, and the questionable smoothening renewal of the surfaces and spaces that is starting to be implemented.
